Congratulations to Deputy Chair of PRIMM, Alison Bourke, who has been made a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. This is in recognition of the many years she has dedicated to the development of primary care databases which now underpin much of the knowledge we have about the use and effects of medication in real-world settings. Alison has also been very engaged in promoting the development of pharmacoepidemiology and quality healthcare through various societies (including PRIMM) and supporting researchers (both junior and senior) in their work.
